Where Do We Ship: We ship to the 48 contiguous states addresses by UPS Ground.
Most Orders to the 48 contiguous states ship in 2 to 3 business days from the day after you place your order, give a extra day if your order was placed on a Holiday, Friday or weekend. Business days for shipping are Mondays thru Friday. 

For APO/FPO: Please use UPS Ground to have it ship to the APO/FPO destination. 

We ship to rural route addresses. We do not ship to Private P.O. Boxes.


Orders To:  Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico and  APO/FPO destination.
: Please use USPS Priority Mail.

Orders to Canada ship UPS Ground: 
Duties, customs, taxes, brokerage fees.
The client is responsible for duties and other customs fees and taxes due to international shipments. Contact your country's customs department to determine your final costs. Upon delivery, the recipient may have to pay duties and other customs fees. We are not legally responsible for and do not pay these fees.

Shipping costs vary by weight of package(s), size of boxe(s) state and zip code being sent from our zip code to your zip code and are calculated by the shipping method you choose at check out.

How Long Does It Take My Package to Arrive

Please give 2 to 7 business days from the day we ship your order to all 48 contiguous states . Business days are Monday - Friday. These are only approximated days and there is no guarantee that it will arrive on a certain day. Packages ship out of The State of Washington.

All Packages are sent with signature conformation. It is highly recommended that you choose a shipping address where there will be an someone available to sign for your package. We assume no liability for any packages left at a door, or that have not been signed for.

Can I Ship Parts Of My Order To A Different Address? Yes

You can select ship items to one address only as the shipping to on the shopping cart page once you are ready to checkout. During the checkout process, you may select a different address to ship 1 only, like your home address or business address. This is only for the 48 contiguous states, Alaska, Hawaii and Puerto Rico. Orders must go to the physical address.

If you live in a rural address we can deliver to a USPS address. Must be a Untied State Post Office

A return authorization number must be requested within the 5 business days of receipt of the shipment and the return authorization number will be valid for 5 business days from the date of issue. Customers are responsible for all shipping costs to and including back to us, unless on a mistake on our part. Repack the product in the original packing materials if you have them. Print on the box the return authorization number we gave you. You will receive a credit to your credit card for the items returned after we receive the item(s) and they have been inspected. We can not give a credit if the merchandise has been used, cut, damaged or lost in transit back to us.

No returns without a prior authorization from SSSE will not be accepted.

Silk Plants For Out Door Use ( Not Recommended )

Artificial Silks are not designed for outdoor use. All silk are made of fabric materials, such as polyester and plastic and wire, they can be used in covered outdoor areas for some time, but should be moved indoors if you have high winds as this can make the fabrics come off. Long term exposure to UV (sun) rays may cause color changing and fading and cause plastic stems to crack. Over time they  will deteriorate outdoors. We can not give a time to how long they will last outdoors due to your weather conditions in your area.

Artificial Silks are not made from real silk. Artificial Silks are made from synthetic fabrics, plastic coated iron wire and are not made of any real silk fabric. Artificial Silks come un-shaped. How Silks Are Sized

All Silk's are sizes from top of tip to bottom of stem, this is how high or long the item is. When fluffed out this if how wide the item is.
Example: If you have a Yucca as shown  that's 25" tall. It will spread out approximately 30"  to 40" wide once you give the stems a bend out.
This item would have a 6" to 8" molded plastic lower stem that holds all the leafs together.  
Please remember that all artificial silks travel to America from overseas and are packed tight in their packages. They may appear crushed and wrinkled when they arrive to you. But much like and cloth, they need air out and smoothed out. We suggest that you place your new purchase upright in your planter or vase, unfold the leaves and allow each plant to fully open for a few days. You'll find that they become even more life like in a few days after shaping.
You also can use a steamer if you have one for a quick fix.

Potting, Assembly and Shaping
When your new silk plants and artificial trees arrive they will need shaping for the most realistic presentation. Remember, the most important thing is that the product fit your application and that shaping is the most important step.

POTTING
Fill your container 3/4 full with floral foam or for trees with large diameter trunks needing a heavier base use plaster of Paris. With floral foam, simply push the bottom of the tree trunk or silk plant stem deep into the floral foam, making sure it is straight. When using plaster of Paris, mix according to instructions, then pour into non-decorative container, and let it “set up” until you can insert your silk plant stem or tree trunk, and the semi-hardened plaster will hold the plant or tree upright until completely hardened. Tap the side of the container to ensure plaster is thoroughly up against the trunk/stem. Once the silk plant is potted, insert your non-decorative container into your decorative planter, crock, basket, etc.

ASSEMBLY
Your silk plants or silk tree may require some simple assembly. Most silk palm trees come with fronds and a trunk with frond openings. As a general rule, smaller fronds go towards the bottom and longer fronds go towards the top (Areca Palm, Bamboo Palm, Kentia Palm, etc.) Some silk plants and trees, such as Phoenix Palms, may have a single frond “head” which simply plugs into the top of the tree trunk. You can always refer to the products picture at silkspectacular.com when assembling and shaping you product you purchased. Please refer to the products page.

SHAPING
Directional shaping is the best method to maximize fullness and create a better silhouette for your silk plants and trees. Start near the trunk or main stem and work your way to the end of the frond or leaf gently bending as you go creating a slight downward curve on the lower branches of the plant and a slight upward curve on the top branches. Give your tree a fuller look by slightly staggering the tips around the branch of you silk plants and trees. Again, referring to the item picture will help in this process.
